Lightweight or Foam Concrete
Foam concrete is a type of lightweight, porous concrete where its density is less than that of regular concrete. It’s a mixture of cement, water, special chemicals (Foaming Agent), and light and coarse aggregate.
The previous materials are settled into the a special machine that mixes the concrete with the foaming agent, causing air bubbles or voids to infiltrate the mixture, increasing its volume while simultaneously decreasing it’s weight.
